It’s the big game at Old Trafford tonight, and former Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, is back for the first time since he was sacked from the job a year ago.
This time, however, it’s with Tottenham Hotspur, the team that trounced his United team 3-0 in the corresponding fixture last season.
By virtue of the fact that just about the only thing that has changed since last season’s game is that Mourinho is now Spurs’ boss, rather than United’s, the pundits have this one down as another away win.
Harry Maguire has joined United, but has made little difference overall, and, in truth, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are a pale shadow of what they were even under Mourinho.
Meanwhile, the Portugeezer has reinvigorated Spurs in his short time at White Hart Lane, and would enjoy nothing more than stealing three points with a last-minute deflection, off the post, and after a VAR review, tonight.
